What Makes Youth
Home Different

We’re a private, not-for-profit organization focused on healing and long-term outcomes — not the bottom line. We deliver trauma-informed care and whole-person wellness through recreation, nutrition, education and nature. With more than 220 dedicated team members, we create an environment where growth, stability and meaningful progress are possible — in a space that feels safe, active and uplifting. We do things the right way — even when it costs more — because that’s where families see real results. We keep low patient-to-staff ratios, maintain a full school day and offer a robust weekly therapy schedule that goes beyond baseline expectations.

Who We Serve

  • Ideal Fit

Youth and teens who need structured, longer-term residential treatment that includes a full school day and coordinated family therapy. Common needs include trauma, attachment-related challenges (including RAD), mood and anxiety disorders, behavioral dysregulation, and co-occurring concerns appropriate for residential care.

  • What We’re Not

Youth Home is not an acute-care hospital or a short-stay crisis unit.

  • Residential Treatment

Campus-based, longer-term therapeutic care that includes education, life-skills development, and family work—focused on stabilization and lasting progress.

Length of Stay — What to Expect

Length of stay varies by clinical need and insurance. Coverage differs by payer. Billing reviews details before admission and your case manager keeps you informed about approvals and timelines throughout care.

Our Clinical Expertise

Care is delivered by licensed, credentialed clinicians with formal training in evidence-based, trauma-focused therapies. Our clinical team is nationally recognized for our expertise in treating disorders of trauma and attachment, including RAD. Youth Home is implementing a clinician training program to share best practices and strengthen national capacity.

Our Model

  • Trauma-informed, whole-person care grounded in recreation, nutrition, education and nature
  • Low patient-to-staff ratios
  • A full school day on campus
  • Qualified Behavioral Health Providers in every classroom
  • A robust weekly therapy schedule that goes beyond standard of care expectations
