YOUTH HOME, INC.
Important Note:
Best completed on laptop or desktop.
Youth Home is currently only accepting TRICARE® East, TRICARE® West, and Arkansas Medicaid.
For Out of State Families: Our team will gladly help you coordinate and cover most travel costs for your family.
Visitation During Their Stay: We offer regular contact via video chat if you are unable to attend in person regularly, and will help coordinate in person visits throughout your child's stay. You are an important part of our treatment team, and as such, participation in Family Therapy is prioritized.
Because Your "Out of Control" Teen May Just Need a Different Kind of Support
We'll address your child's entire well-being: Including medical, psychiatric, social, physical, and academic needs. And the best part is: your child can feel safe and comfortable while doing it.
We involve the child in their own treatment plan from the very beginning, rather than simply telling them what to do.
This approach creates more successful results, giving them the tools they need to take ownership over their wellbeing.
Every parent is surveyed at the time of discharge and 6 months following. The results are clear:
We provide far more opportunities for therapy than what is considered standard, offering 2 individual, family, group, and numerous recreational groups sessions per week.
Each client stays with us between 3-7 months and benefits greatly from the intensive 24 Hour support.
Because clients stay with us for roughly 3-7 months, the environment we create for them is incredibly important.
Our therapeutic activities are enjoyed in a beautiful, safe, and comfortable 52-acre campus (if we aren't out having fun at the zoo, skate park, local assisted living homes, and more.)
We offer a 4:1 Staff Ratio (compared to the 6:1 ratio required by regulating bodies).
Every staff member on campus, regardless of their level of involvement with the clients, is intensively trained in Trauma Informed Care. Safety is the highest priority at Youth Home, for staff and clients, alike.
Intensive Residential Treatment Admission Requirements
We are approved by the governing bodies to offer treatment to adolescents ages 12-17. If your child is going to turn 12 within the next month, contact us about applying for treatment at 1-800-728-6452.
To be approved for treatment by your insurance company, you must be able to demonstrate that your child has a need for a more intensive treatment program. We can demonstrate this through documentation of recent attempts at outpatient therapy, school based services, or acute visits.
Your child must be currently enrolled in Public School, Private School, Day Treatment or a Vocational Program. We will continue their education throughout our treatment program at our on-campus Siebert School.
Youth Home does not accept youth who have committed acts of sexual abuse or assault, or youth who have a history of violence towards other youth and care givers. As a Trauma Informed facility, we prioritize a safe environment for all people involved.
Our program is genuinely unlike any other program in the United States. We treat each child with respect, provide access to decompression zones, ongoing professional support for debriefing stress, and evidence based therapies. On our 52 acre, beautiful campus, we provide award winning recreational therapy, an on campus educational program, and individualized care to give your child the best chance of success.
Family involvement is a key element to our treatment program. We'll support your ongoing involvement through travel assistance, access to your child via phone by request, teletherapy, and passes for home visits when clinically appropriate.
We accept TRICARE® Insurance and provide travel assistance to out of state families, so that the cost of care is minimal for you. We provide unparalleled value to every client, even if they discharge early. If you're hoping for a higher quality of life for your child or to save your family, we would love to help you try.
Our supportive, on campus educational program was designed specifically to solve this problem. To give each child the best chance of success, we also need to help them thrive in a high school setting. That's what the Siebert School program is for.
As a Trauma Informed agency, safety is our utmost priority. We don't tolerate harassment or violence of any kind with the objective of protecting staff and clients to provide a safe place to work and heal. That said, any incidents will be reported to you with haste.
Our program isn't a fit for everyone, but we guarantee that we won't keep your child any longer than necessary if it's not effective for your family. We guarantee we'll provide as much support as we're able to substantiate to help your family thrive again. Many of our families have been changed forever because of the care received by our treatment team. Your family's success matters to us, and so does your child's health. The history of who we are as an agency and how our organization came to be truly does give a incredible view into this dedication.
We don't say Changing Lives • Saving Families for nothing. This is more normal than you know, and possible to overcome. We work with you before, during, and after treatment to help give you the best chance of success after discharging. Our objective isn't changed behavior in our care, it's creating a positive, lifelong change for your family.
Youth Home is accredited by The Joint Commission, which means our health care organization continuously complies with rigorous standards and successfully corrects deficiencies identified at our most recent survey and/or review.
We have working relationships with the local hospitals and/or urgent care facilities. Whether a patient has an accident, engages in self-harm, or is in crisis (and therefore in need of additional support), we have protocols in place to get appropriate care for them immediately.
Planning for a patient’s discharge is an important step in the overall treatment at Youth Home. Discharge planning begins on day one of treatment. Our goal is to provide patients with the therapeutic and life skills necessary to function in a home setting.
In addition to meeting and exceeding credential regulations for our staff members, every staff member is fully and intensively trained in the Trauma Informed Care approach. Every person who is scheduled to work on our campus receives this training.
